香港粤剧电影《穿金宝扇》由桃源电影企业公司于1959年出品。该片改编自仙凤鸣剧团同名粤剧，由蒋伟光执导，任剑辉、白雪仙、半日安、李香琴、区家声、少新权等领衔主演。主要剧情是：郭炎章与吕昭华自小订亲，以御赐穿金扇为凭。后炎章家道中落，迫不得已投靠准岳丈尚书吕刚。吕刚嫌章家贫，又误会炎章夜进昭华香闺，把炎章撵走。炎章以为昭华父女串同悔婚，含恨上京。后昭华卷入一宗凶案中，被判充军，于关外与出使的炎章重逢，惨遭奚落。幸得昭华表妹李桂英澄清当日误会，炎章、昭华终成眷属。[1]
